Animals - Bull escapes and injures farmer

A bull has escaped from the Oberfranken district of Hof in Germany and injured a farmer. According to a police spokesperson, traffic on the nearby Autobahn 9 had to be temporarily reduced on Tuesday evening due to the risk that the animal could run onto the road.

The bull was supposedly to be relocated in the community of Berg and broke through a fence during the process. After being hit by a shot from a tranquilizer gun, the farmer approached the animal. However, the bull charged and broke several of the man's ribs. Eventually, they were able to tranquilize the animal.

The incident involving the escaped bull originated from the Upper Franconia district, specifically the County of Hof in Bavaria. Despite being intended for relocation in Upper France, the bull managed to escape during transportation in Berg, causing significant damage. Upon arrival of local authorities, the police from Upper Franconia had to intervene due to potential traffic disruptions on the nearby Autobahn 9.
