The Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance (BSW) will also establish a local branch in Berlin on July 14th. A party spokesperson made this statement to a report by "Spiegel" and "Tagesspiegel". So far, the BSW has had four local branches: in Saarland, Thuringia, Saxony, and Brandenburg.
Sahra Wagenknecht, the former politician of The Left, founded her party in January. According to "Spiegel", Wagenknecht stated that more local branches would follow in the second half of the year.
It is known in Berlin that the former Left politician Alexander K. has joined the new party. Regarding personnel matters and whether he would lead a new Berlin BSW local branch, he declined to comment on inquiry.
