British airline passengers divert due to global IT issues on English Channel

The administration of Kent County warned against traveling to the port or the Eurotunnel without a reservation. "Both the ferries from Dover and the shuttle are not taking on unregistered passengers today. Please book in advance before you come to the port," the statement read on X.
The harbor manager, Doug Bannister, called on stranded passengers nonetheless to come to Dover. "We have capacity," he told the British Press Association. In case of emergencies, people should still buy a ticket and download it on the go.
