Memorable wedding - Bride and groom find corpse during gondola ride in the lake
A married couple discovered a corpse in the Upper Ausee in Ulm during a gondola ride over the weekend. According to the police, the corpse was identified as a 32-year-old man who had been reported missing a week prior. The "Südwest Presse" had previously reported on the incident.
The 32-year-old man had been at the Ulm Folk Festival with a friend – and then presumably disappeared on his way home, the police reported.

The search for the man was initially unsuccessful. This was mainly due to the fact that no one knew where to look for him, the "Südwest Presse" continued.
The police are currently investigating this as an accident. The couple went ahead with their celebration after the body was recovered.
Despite the unfortunate discovery at Ulm's Upper Ausee, the wedding celebration of the bridal couple continued in Baden-Württemberg, a neighboring German state. The missing man's body was later identified as a 32-year-old who had been reported missing a week before in Bavaria, not far from Ulm. The police in Ulm are currently treating the incident as an accident, considering the circumstances surrounding his disappearance. Subsequently, an emergency response team was dispatched to the scene, following the alarm raised by the married couple aboard the gondola.
