Ten years MHB - Brandenburg Medical University celebrates 50 graduates
In the fight against the physician shortage in Brandenburg, the Medical University of Brandenburg sent off 50 female and male graduates into their professional lives. "Now it's up to you to take responsibility in society," MHB President Hans-Uwe Simon told them at the graduation ceremony on Saturday in Brandenburg an der Havel. The majority of the graduates had started their studies in the summer semester 2018 and therefore faced the Corona-Pandemic during their training.
The MHB used the graduation ceremony as the kick-off for the jubilee festival of the university, which turns ten years old this year. The MHB started in 2014 with 86 female students and male students. According to the MHB, 1,000 people will be enrolled in the university this year.
The MHB with its four locations in Brandenburg offers besides the medical studies also dentistry and psychology.
