On the balcony of a high-rise building in Berlin-Staaken, a fire broke out. It had burned in the 10th floor of a 17-story residential building, according to the fire department. The firefighting has been completed meanwhile. There were no injuries.
The flames reached up to the 11th floor, according to the fire department spokesperson, and the facade was damaged up to approximately the 15th floor. It was controlled and ventilated in the late afternoon.
The fire department spokesperson stated that it was a strenuous operation due to the many floors. They were present in the Spandau district with 75 personnel.
