At a New Year's Eve party in Hamburg, a family member allegedly threw a so-called "Polish boiler" and injured four people lightly. An investigation is being conducted for bodily harm and damage to property, a police spokesperson said on Saturday. Previously, the "Hamburger Abendblatt" reported. At the party in the district of Barmbek-North on Friday evening, around 300 people were present according to police. Further details could not be named by police and fire department.

At the request of the injured parties, an ambulance was called during the Hamburg New Year's Eve party, adding to the night's emergency situations. It was later discovered that the "Polenbolle," thrown by a criminal element, was the source of the bodily harm. The suspect fled the scene, and the local police are now on the hunt for the individual responsible for the disturbance using the description of a person in a blue Boller.
