Body of Olympic helper found in Paris

Shortly after the grand closing ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris, a young woman goes missing. Investigators manage to track her phone near the Stade de France before an SMS leads them to an apartment in the 18th arrondissement. There, they discover the body of the 21-year-old.

A woman who had volunteered at the Olympic Games has been found dead in an apartment in Paris, according to French newspaper "Le Figaro". The 21-year-old was working at the Stade de France, where the closing ceremony also took place. She went missing after the event. Her body was found less than a day later.

The woman's mother had alerted the police, expressing concern as she hadn't heard from her daughter. On Monday evening, around 9 PM, Parisian security services began their investigation. They quickly determined that the missing woman was last seen in the 18th arrondissement, shortly after the closing ceremony, around 1 AM on Monday morning. They also managed to track her phone in the Saint-Ouen area, near the Stade de France.

A crucial clue came from an SMS forwarded to the investigators by the woman's family. A Polish acquaintance wrote that his companion had "done something stupid". The police traced the man's address. After no one initially opened the door, they ordered it to be opened.

Suspect found beside the body

At around 1:45 AM, police found the "cold and lifeless" body of the woman, according to "Le Figaro". They noticed a hematoma on her left cheekbone and blood on her neck.

The suspect was found beside the body, in a "semi-comatose state", and was unable to speak French. He was first taken to a hospital for alcohol and drug tests and is now in police custody. The Paris prosecutor's office has opened an investigation for voluntary homicide.

The missing woman's body was found in the 18th arrondissement of Paris, which is known for its vibrant nightlife. The suspect, a foreign national, was discovered nearby in an unconscious state.
