In the South Sulawesi region of Indonesia, a 45-year-old lady disappears. Her concerned family and neighbors initiate a search mission. As they continue their efforts, they stumble upon an enormous six-meter-long python. Upon cutting open the snake, they're met with a shocking sight.

In the Indonesian countryside, an enormous python has gobbled up a woman. The body of the 45-year-old mother of four, Farida, was discovered in the colossal python's stomach, as per the town leader, Suardi Rosi. She'd failed to return home on Thursday night, and villagers from Kalempang village in South Sulawesi started a search on Friday. They found Farida's personal belongings, prompting them to investigate further.

Soon after, they stumbled upon a python with an unusually large belly. The villagers decided to slice open the python's stomach and immediately saw the missing person's head. The snake had devoured this young woman completely.

Net pythons are among the world's largest snakes, capable of surpassing six meters in length. These pythons don't employ toxins in hunting; instead, they strangle their prey. Their diet generally consists of birds and smaller mammals like rats. They even consume monkeys and wild pigs. However, snakes swallowing people with skin and hair are extremely uncommon, according to experts. It's possible due to their two flexible lower jaws, which can be pushed out from their upper jaws, allowing them to devour bigger animals.

In Indonesia, there have been multiple incidents involving pythons and human fatalities in the past. Last year, villagers in Southeast Sulawesi slayed an immense eight-meter-long python that had consumed a farmer. In 2018, a 54-year-old woman was found dead in the stomach of a seven-meter-long python in the region. In 2017, a man was ingested by a four-meter-long python on a palm oil plantation in West Sulawesi.
