US election campaign - Biden: Overwhelming support

Joe Biden will express no self-doubts during the debate about his suitability as a US-Presidential candidate. The Democrats are free to nominate someone else at their party convention in mid-August, replied the 81-year-old during his closing press conference at the NATO Summit in Washington in response to a related question. "Of course it's up to them to do as they please. But I'm getting overwhelming support."

If he appears at the convention and they all say they want someone else, then that's the democratic process. "That won't happen," he added in a whisper. Biden stated that he is the most qualified to govern - and to win. "There are other people who could beat Trump. But they would have to start from scratch."

  1. Despite facing self-doubt from some corners, Joe Biden firmly believes in his qualifications to serve as the US Presidential candidate in the upcoming 2024 elections, held in the United States of America.
  2. During the US campaign for the 2024 election, the Democrats in Washington will have the freedom to nominate a new candidate at their party convention, as they did during mid-August in 2020.
  3. Regardless of any US Election 2024 campaigns, Joe Biden, the current US Presidential candidate, expressed his confidence in receiving overwhelming support from the American people.
  4. Although there are other capable individuals in the United States of America who could potentially challenge Donald Trump in the upcoming US Election 2024, they would need to establish a strong US campaign and gain supporters from scratch.
