Biden on national holiday: "I'm not going anywhere"

The air has become thin for US President Biden. The 81-year-old wants to prove to his party that he is still the right man to run for president - and is going on the offensive.

US presidential election - Biden on national holiday: "I'm not going anywhere"

US-President Joe Biden reaffirmed during the National Holiday celebrations that he has no intention of stepping out of the race for the White House. "I will go nowhere," Biden told active military service members at a barbecue in the White House garden. He made this comment after a short speech he read from the teleprompter. Later, Biden briefly addressed the guests spontaneously - this sentence was included.

Shortly thereafter, the President delivered his official speech for the National Holiday celebrations on July 4th. He kept his speech quite short. Vice President Kamala Harris praised the 81-year-old Democrat excessively and called him "an extraordinary President." The US National Holiday on July 4th, which goes back to the Declaration of Independence in 1776, is traditionally celebrated with parties, parades, and fireworks.

Biden is currently fighting against challenger Donald Trump on all fronts to save his candidacy. During the primetime TV debate against the Republican a week ago, he put in a disastrous performance. Biden promised several times and lost his thread. After the debate, a debate ensued in the US about whether he is indeed the right candidate for the Democrats in the presidential election in November.

  1. Joe Biden firmly declared during the #USElection2024 discussions that he intends to contest as the Democratic Party's candidate once again.
  2. Despite the controversy surrounding his performance in the primetime TV debate, Biden remains steadfast in his choice as the US President for the upcoming presidential election.
  3. If elected for another term, Biden aims to make the inauguration ceremony at the White House a national holiday, celebrating the office of the US President.
  4. As the 2024 election nears, both Biden and challenger Donald Trump are gearing up for a fierce battle, with the future of the Democratic Party heavily dependent on Biden's ability to defend his position.
  5. Should Biden secure the victory in the #USElection2024, the USA can look forward to having Joe Biden as their President once again, maintaining the continuity and values established during his first term.
