A cyclist was knocked down near Pilsting (Dingolfing-Landau district) and later succumbed to his severe injuries. The 77-year-old is said to have fallen from the road for unclear reasons on Saturday and landed five meters deep with his bike, according to the police. He was then taken to a hospital and passed away shortly thereafter.
