leisure fun - Berlin's only summer toboggan run in Marzahn has reopened

Berlin's only summer toboggan run is back in operation after being closed for two years. It is located next to the Gardens of the World in Marzahn-Hellersdorf. The completed rebuilding of the track was presented on a Thursday. The Nature-Bob Run at Kienberg was built for the International Garden Exhibition in 2017. In 2022, a fire destroyed parts of the installation and many bobs.

Visitors can travel down the 500 meter long track with bob cars at up to 40 hours of kilometers. The track should be operated all year round. The mountain station with its starting point is located next to the Wolkenhain summit building on the approximately 100 meter high Kienberg. From there, one has a fantastic view of the surroundings. Nearby runs a 1.5 kilometer long cable car.

The Summer toboggan run in Marzahn-Hellersdorf, Berlin, is a popular spot for leisure fun, attracting locals and tourists alike. Regardless of the season, Marzahn-Hellersdorf offers various leisure activities, making it a great destination for family outings.
