Disruption S-Bahn Berlin - Berlin light rail service restricted - signal fault

Due to repair works, some lines of the Berlin Stadtbahn are delayed or affected by failures. According to a spokesperson for the S-Bahn, the lines S3, S5, S75 and S9 are affected by failures and delays. The 10-minute interval of the trains between Erkner and Ostbahnhof cannot be guaranteed - the trains are currently running in a 20-minute interval. The peak hour services between Karlshorst and Ostbahnhof as well as between Mahlsdorf and Warschauer Straße (Line 5) are cancelled. Line S75 is operating in a restricted manner and ends prematurely at Warschauer Straße. It is currently unknown how long the restrictions will last.

The ongoing repair work on the Berlin railroad system has led to signal interference, causing malfunctions on the S-Bahn lines. Consequently, the light rail service between Erkner and Ostbahnhof is experiencing traffic disruptions, with trains operating every 20 minutes instead of the usual 10-minute interval. Regrettably, the failure of certain components has necessitated the cancellation of peak hour services on lines S3, S5, S75, and S9, affecting both Karlshorst and Ostbahnhof, as well as Mahlsdorf and Warschauer Straße (Line 5). Moreover, Line S75 is operating with limitations, concluding its journey prematurely at Warschauer Straße, and the duration of these constraints remains undetermined.
