Police - Beer trolley hits wheelchair user and cyclist

At a beer cart on wheels, during the ride, a sales flap opened and hit a wheelchair user and a female cyclist in Freiburg. Both were slightly injured, according to the police.

A 56-year-old man had attached the beer cart to a car and was driving through the city on a Monday. During the journey, the sales flap of the beer cart opened first and hit the 41-year-old cyclist, who was riding on a bike path, and then the 80-year-old wheelchair user.

After a collision with a traffic light post, the cart came to a stop. The exact circumstances were initially unknown.

In Baden-Württemberg, the incident took place in Freiburg, involving a wheelchair user and a cyclist. The police in Fribourg, Switzerland, were also notified about similar accidents involving traffic and wheelchair users in their city. Despite the safety measures in place for both traffic and wheelchair users, such incidents continue to pose challenges in urban traffic management.
