Bavaria: Söder announces gender ban

Gendering is to be banned in Bavaria's schools and authorities in future. "I can say for Bavaria: with us, there will be no mandatory gendering. On the contrary: we will even prohibit gendering in schools and administration," said Minister President Markus Söder (CSU) in his first government statement in the state parliament in the new legislative period.

At the same time,Söder accused the coalition government in the federal government of overreaching with projects such as cannabis legalization, gendering and the right to self-determination. "Don't we have any other problems in Germany?" he asked.
