Fire - Basement fire in Wasungen: Four slightly injured

Four people have been lightly injured due to a cellar fire in a single-family house in Wasungen. The cause of the Monday evening piled-up clothing catching fire is still unknown, according to the police. This led to a strong development of smoke. Four people had to be taken to the hospital due to smoke inhalation.

The house is still habitable, but the cellar is currently not usable. The damage to property amounts to 40,000 Euro.

The detached house in Wasunden, Thuringia, is now impacted by a cellar fire, which led to the injury of four individuals. Despite the house being habitable, the cellar, where the fire originated, is currently unsuitable for use due to the incident.
