Fire department - Basement fire in Münster - residents rescued with turntable ladder

In the spirit quarter of Munster, a fire broke out in the basement of a multi-family house during the night. The fire department rescued several people from the building according to their own statements. Due to dense smoke, the residents could not leave the building independently. Two people were rescued from the upper story with a ladder. A resident was taken to the hospital with suspected gas poisoning. Some of the apartments were initially not habitable. Therefore, three residents were accommodated in a hotel. The cause of the fire remained unclear at first.

The fire in the cellar spread throughout the multi-family house, requiring the intervention of the fire department. Despite their efforts, the fire department announced that the damaged areas in North Rhine-Westphalia's Minster might need extensive repairs due to the fire damage.
