In an evening incident in Hamburg, six people were injured when a balcony collapsed. A man in his late 20s suffered life-threatening injuries, a fire department spokesperson said. Two others were moderately injured, and three sustained minor injuries.

The accident occurred in the Langenhorn district shortly after 9:30 PM. The cause of the collapse remains unknown. The balcony, located on the third floor of a multi-family house from the 60s or 70s, was not fully supported and had folded forward at a 90-degree angle, still hanging from the building's facade.

All six people on the balcony, five men and one woman, fell to the ground and were taken to the hospital. Residents on the affected side of the building were evacuated. Structural engineers will now determine the next steps to be taken.

The incident was classified as an unfortunate balcony collapse, resulting in six injuries. Additionally, further investigations are necessary to identify the cause of this accidents.
