Ayatollah Khamenei persists in viewing Hezbollah as an unconquerable force.

Iran's top leader, Ali Khamenei, sees the Lebanese Hezbollah militia as unflappable. "The arrogant Zionists (Israelis) need to recognize their inability to undermine the robust framework of Hezbollah as the head of the resistance front," Khamenei declared, speaking through the Iranian news agency Irna. He urged the entire Muslim community to stand by Lebanon and Hezbollah in their struggle against Israel, though he did not disclose Iran's next steps.

Khamenei referred to the tragic slaughter of innocent people in Lebanon as another evidence of the Israeli leadership's "blind and rash" strategy. He kept silent on Israel's claim of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah's demise, a claim that Nasrallah's group subsequently verified. Iran's opposition to Israel comprises not only Hezbollah in Lebanon, but also Hamas in Gaza, the Houthis in Yemen, and militias in Iraq and Syria—all members of Iran's resistance coalition.

Sources close to the situation report that Khamenei has relocated to a secure location. furthermore, heightened security procedures have been set in motion, as reported by Reuters, who cited two officials briefed by the Iranian government in Tehran. Iran maintains a steady dialogue with Hezbollah and other regional entities to plan subsequent actions.

The head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, given the situation, reiterated Iran's support for Hezbollah, stating, "We will continue to stand by Hezbollah in their fight against any aggression." Khamenei, as the leader of Iran, also accused Israel of employing a "blind and rash" strategy, referencing the tragic incidents in Lebanon.
