On Wednesday morning, authorities are still on the hunt for a missing nine-year-old girl from Döbeln, Saxony, using drones and canines. "We're waiting on the results before determining our next move," stated a spokeswoman for Chemnitz police. Witness testimonies are also being examined by the criminal police.
The search for the young Ukrainian girl had started on Monday evening. Police divers and water police were part of the operations, scanning the Mulde river and its shores.
Primary school girl goes missing on the way to school
This little girl had been reported missing since Monday morning. Per the police, she had last been spotted at around 6:50 am while on her way to school. Typically, she makes use of the bus for part of her route, but it was discovered later that she was nowhere to be found in the classroom.
