Criminality - Attempted break-in at Reception - Falcon escaped
At an attempted break-in at a bird rehabilitation station in the Heilbronn district, twelve living peregrine falcons flew away. According to the police, one or more perpetrators attempted to break into the building through the bird enclosure between Saturday evening and Sunday morning. They allegedly ripped plans and grilles out of their moorings, allowing the care-dependent falcons to escape.
Previously, the perpetrator or perpetrators had already unsuccessfully attempted to force open the entrance door of the rehabilitation station of the Nature Protection League (Nabu) in Bad Friedrichshall. However, they had ultimately not entered the house. A staff member of the rehabilitation station stated today that the birds have not returned yet. The police are now looking for possible witnesses who can provide information about the incident.
