Crime - Attempted arson at residential building

An unknown perpetrator spread accelerants at the entrance of a house in the night and set them on fire afterwards. The resident of the house in Haßloch, Landkreis Bad Dürkheim, managed to extinguish the fire independently before the arrival of the fire department, according to the police. The entrance and the house door of the building were damaged by the fire. Witnesses are asked to contact the police.

The Police in Rhineland-Palatinate are investigating an arson case in Hassloch, where a resident prevented a house fire from spreading further. The crime scene includes damaged areas at the entrance and door of the house, suggesting the use of a fire accelerant by the unknown perpetrator.
