Publicity search - Attack with machete at Hansaplatz - Police are looking for theperpetrator
With the publication of photos from a surveillance camera, the Berlin Police are looking for a man who allegedly injured two men at Hansaplatz U-Bahn station with a machete. According to the police, the suspect had an argument with a 29-year-old man in the evening of 14th January.
The police stated that the man hit the 29-year-old in the face with his fist during the altercation. Subsequently, he reportedly pulled out a machete from under his sweater and attacked both the 29-year-old and his 34-year-old companion with it. The victims were taken to a hospital for treatment, as reported.
According to the police, the suspect is approximately 20 to 25 years old, 1.65 to 1.75 meters tall, and of slim build. He was reportedly wearing a black jacket with a fur collar, a baseball cap, and a red sweater. Additionally, he had dark pants and dark shoes on, according to the police.

The surveillance footage from Hansaplatz U-Bahn station in Berlin could potentially lead to the identification of the man involved in the machete incident. Despite the criminal act, there has been no significant increase in publicity searches for the suspect so far.
