The US-based Institute for the Study of War (ISW) is advocating for the full authorization of long-range weapons strikes on Russian territory by Ukraine. While the Russian air forces were relocated to deeper rear areas, numerous military targets still remain within the range of US ATACMS missiles currently owned by Ukraine but restricted from attacking Russian territory by Washington. According to the ISW, at least 250 military and paramilitary targets in Russia are within the ATACMS missile's reach. However, only strikes with HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and GLMRS rockets are currently authorized, making it challenging for Ukraine to target more than 20 of the 250 objectives.

Despite these publicly shared reports, Moscow remains silent regarding its own losses in Ukraine.
