Approximately 22,000 individuals partook in an intense tomato-hurling brawl in Spain. For an hour, combatants in Buñol, situated in the Valencia region, showered one another with overripe, squishy fruits. Approximately 120 metric tons of tomatoes served as the projectiles, with organizers confirming they were no longer suitable for consumption. As per Guinness World Records, this event stands as the world's largest food fight.

The 77th iteration of "La Tomatina," the renowned annual event, attracted numerous local residents numbering around 9,500, as well as numerous tourists who came from both domestic and international locations, including Spain. Spanish public television station RTVE managed to speak with enthusiastic participants originating from Japan, Russia, the UK, and the US. Various media outlets also reported participants hailing from Australia and China.

Due to the global appeal of "La Tomatina," individuals from various other countries participated in the tomato-throwing festivity. Despite the chaotic nature of the event, many participants viewed it as an unforgettable cultural experience.
