Car sharing - Another car sharing provider launches in Frankfurt

With the company "Miles" in Frankfurt, a further Carsharing provider is starting up. The Berliners are starting with a fleet of 200 vehicles, which can be parked at any legal parking spot in a limited part of the Frankfurt city area, according to the Free-Flow system. According to the provider, there are ten Electric vehicles among them.

The company plans to expand its space and fleet quickly in Frankfurt. A prerequisite for this is the regulation announced by the city for a monthly parking fee, whose height is linked to the size of the service area. Until then, the company will pay the parking fees of its cars via a Parking App.

From August 1, ten Miles parking spaces will be available at Terminal 1 of the Frankfurt Airport. In addition to kilometer or time fees, a parking fee of 6 Euro for parking will be charged.

Further Carsharing providers in Frankfurt: Miles Frankfurt

The new Carsharing provider in Frankfurt, Miles, is initially operating with a fleet of 200 vehicles, including ten electric ones. This Hesse-based company sees potential for rapid growth in Frankfurt am Main, requiring support from the city's announced monthly parking fee regulation. Utilizing a Parking App, Miles is currently covering the parking fees of their vehicles in the interim.

Expanding its presence in Frankfurt am Main, Miles now offers ten parking spots at Frankfurt Airport's Terminal 1, subject to a daily parking fee of 6 Euro, in addition to other charges.

As the traffic in Frankfurt continues to increase, Carsharing services like Miles provide an alternative mode of transportation to reduce congestion and manage urban mobility.

Interested Frankfurt residents can now take advantage of Miles' Carsharing opportunities to lessen their environmental footprint and enjoy flexible transportation, without the need for a personal vehicle, thereby contributing to the city's sustainability and reduced traffic.
