- Andrew Tate received a house imprisonment order following his temporary detention in custody.

British social influencer Andrew Tate, currently facing charges of rape and human trafficking, has been ordered to stay at home in Romania as part of fresh investigations. The 37-year-old and his brother Tristan Tate were placed under house arrest yesterday, following a search of their residence the day prior.

The siblings are already accused of running a criminal organization, wherein they, along with two other suspected females, are alleged to have coerced several victims into sexual exploitation. A court date for this case has yet to be announced.

Fresh accusations against Andrew and Tristan Tate

According to officials, the new investigations pertain to suspected child trafficking, sexual abuse of minors, and money laundering. Andrew Tate refuted these claims, implying an attempt to "smear our reputation."

Originally famed for his misogynistic opinions and views in online circles, the Tate brothers were apprehended in Bucharest in 2022 and spent three months in detention. They are also under scrutiny in the UK for accusations of rape, assault, and tax evasion.

In light of the new investigations, Andrew Tate is charged with rape alongside the allegations of child trafficking, sexual abuse of minors, and money laundering. His brother Tristan Tate is implicated as well, facing similar accusations.
