Anastacia cancels concerts because of "acute illness"

American singer Anastacia was scheduled to perform in Freiburg in the evening, but she had to cancel at short notice. In a statement, she apologized for the cancellation and announced more upcoming concerts that will also be canceled.

American singer Anastacia (55) has abruptly canceled her scheduled concert in Freiburg tonight and other upcoming performances due to health reasons. "I'm really sorry, but I can't perform at the Zelt Musik Festival in Freiburg tonight," she stated on the festival's website. "My doctors advised against performing. I was really looking forward to it and hope to be able to come back soon." On Instagram, Anastacia ("I'm Outta Love") announced that she wouldn't be able to perform as planned in Mallorca on Tuesday. She also canceled a performance in Roses, Catalonia, on Thursday. "I'm really sorry," she wrote, explaining that she needs to recover. She didn't provide details about her illness.

Her team is working on finding a new date. "So please keep an eye out for updates in the next few days. Sorry again and I hope to see you all soon!" According to the organizers, all tickets will remain valid. Anastacia recently participated in Peter Maffay's farewell tour in Germany. The singer achieved great success in Europe in the 2000s with hits like "Paid My Dues" or "Sick And Tired". In the past, Anastacia has suffered from serious illnesses, including breast cancer.

Anastacia's sudden concert cancellations are due to her ongoing health issues, specifically a resurgence of her previous serious [diseases]. Despite needing time to recover, she expressed regret and hopes to reschedule the performances.
