Short shock in the morning hours: An explosion woke people up harshly in Gotha. According to the police, a transformer box went off around 8.20 am on a Saturday morning. The cause was a technical defect. No one was injured, according to the reports.

The explosion originated from a power distribution box in Gotha, Thuringia. Residents in the vicinity were advised to stay away during the emergency maintenance on the weekend. Despite occurring during the morning hour on a Saturday, thankfully, no one in Gotha suffered any injuries due to the explosion in Gotha.
