Criminal Activity - An AfD member of the state parliament was assaulted in Dresden.

Hans-Jürgen Zickler, a Saxon AfD state parliamentarian, was assaulted at an info stand in Dresden, as per the party's statement. Andreas Harlaß, the spokesperson for AfD Saxony, said that the attacker, apparently without any warning, struck the 70-year-old Zickler in the face. The attacker was detained until the cops arrived on the scene. A police report was filed.

The Dresden authorities acknowledged the assault. They added that a 47-year-old male had punched a 70-year-old person at a polling station. The details of the alleged assailant have been noted down. A case has been opened against him for possible bodily harm. To protect the safety of the suspect, the police didn't reveal his identity.
