From the afternoon onwards, the thunderstorms subside. Temperatures rise to 25 to 27 degrees. It remains dry at night with only a few clouds in the sky. The temperature drops to 17 to 13 degrees. Fog forms locally, so visibility is limited to less than 150 meters.

On Friday, showers and at times thunderstorms move in from the south. The temperature rises to 25 to 29 degrees, with changing cloud cover. The wind blows lightly to moderately. The night from Friday to Saturday is overcast. It rains heavily with thunderstorms. Temperatures drop to 19 to 16 degrees.

At the weekend, it will be cooler. The highest temperatures range from 21 to 26 degrees. A dense cloud cover releases some rain on Saturday, which quickly moves north. After that, it is mostly dry, with only occasional showers or thunderstorms.

The prognosis for the weekend in Berlin and Brandenburg, according to DWD, suggests cooler temperatures with chances of showers and occasional thunderstorms. Despite the threat of bad weather, Potsdam's historical sites remain a popular destination even during less-than-ideal weather conditions. On Saturday, a large gathering might be affected by the thunderstorms, as forecasted by the German Weather Service.
