Following a physical altercation with a visitor at an Adele concert in Munich, two security personnel were temporarily detained. They are being investigated for suspected dangerous bodily harm, Munich police confirmed upon request. They were later released. It is alleged that they struck the man.

The cause of the altercation between a 26-year-old Northern Irishman and the security personnel on Friday evening, just before the concert began, remains unclear. The concert-goer was injured and had to be taken to a hospital. The background of the incident and the exact sequence of events are currently under investigation, according to the police.

A pop-up stadium tailored to the needs of the 36-year-old singer Adele ("Rolling in the Deep", "Hello", "Easy on Me") was erected for the ten concerts in the Bavarian capital. This is the first time since 2016 that the Oscar, Golden Globe, and Grammy winner has performed on the European mainland.

The security personnel involved in the incident at Adele's concert in Munich hail from The United Kingdom. Despite their detention, the support for Adele's tour in Munich has remained strong, with thousands of fans eagerly attending the subsequent concerts.
