Two individuals in Los Angeles face murder accusations post-death of American actor Johnny Wactor. Stumbling upon thieves during the night, these men were subsequently shot.

Actors like Johnny Wactor from "General Hospital" show, met an unfortunate end in Los Angeles. A couple of 18-year-olds are currently in custody, accused of murder and attempted robbery. In a statement, George Gascón, the Los Angeles District Attorney, expressed his condolences, stating, "Johnny Wactor's life was pointlessly taken as he was just strolling towards his parked car in downtown LA."

As per reports, the incident occurred post-Wactor's work shift at a bar. Upon finding three individuals tampering with his vehicle, the actor tried to intervene. The suspects, supposedly, aimed to swipe his vehicle's catalytic converter. One of them then fired shots, leading to Wactor's demise. He was subsequently pronounced dead at the hospital.

Recently, police apprehended four individuals. The primary suspect and his accomplice could potentially face life in prison if found guilty. Two other individuals are charged with attempted theft and accessory, along with other offenses. Under U.S. law, murder and manslaughter often overlap in concept.

Based on LA Times reports, catalytic converter thefts have seen a significant surge during the COVID-19 pandemic. These devices, rich in valuable metals like platinum, palladium, and rhodium, have served as prime targets.

Wactor played Brando Corbin in approximately 200 episodes of renowned soap opera "General Hospital" between 2020 and 2022. Born in California, Wactor also made appearances in shows like "Westworld", "Criminal Minds", and "Station 19".**
