Three people have been injured in a collision between a small transit van and a car in Helmbrechts (Landkreis Hof), one of them seriously. The 65-year-old van driver disregarded the right-of-way of the oncoming car driven by a 44-year-old man, according to the police today.
Apparently, both vehicles collided with each other. A 43-year-old passenger in the transit van was seriously injured, while an eleven-year-old and a 45-year-old in the car were lightly injured. All three injured persons were taken to the hospital according to a police spokesperson. The police estimated the damage at 50,000 Euro.
The collision occurred in the Upper Franconia region, specifically in the Landkreis Hof district. The incident involved a transporter and a car, leading to three injuries. The Upper Franconia District Hof's police are investigating the accident. The serious injury was sustained by a 43-year-old passenger in the transit van. Traffic in the area was affected due to the accident. Additionally, two other individuals, an eleven-year-old and a 45-year-old, from the car, were only lightly injured.
