After the murder of a homeless man in Berlin-Moabit, the criminal police have arrested the suspected perpetrator. According to police information given today, the 41-year-old man was arrested by investigators in Moabit near the Hauptbahnhof on Thursday evening. A judge issued a warrant for his arrest on suspicion of murder.

The homeless 48-year-old man was found dead on a Sunday afternoon in front of a business building in Heidestraße. The crime was filmed in part or in full by surveillance cameras at a building, it was reported. The footage was analyzed.

The criminality in Berlin-Moabit has been a concern for local authorities due to several recent incidents. The criminal police are increasing their presence in the area to address these issues.
