summer weather - A hot weekend is approaching
The weekend will be hot in Germany. The meteorologist Marcus Beyer from the German Weather Service in Offenbach announced: "The provisional peak is brought by Saturday with peak values up to 34 degrees, but even on Sunday the Eastern part will still crack the 30 degree mark." Locally, there can be thunderstorms with gales, heavy rain.
Above all, in the agglomerations in the southwest and west, tropical nights are expected, so temperatures will not drop below the 20-degree mark.
Already for Friday, temperatures between 26 and 32 degrees are expected. From the west to the center, some denser cloud formations dominate the sky, but it will also be pleasant there. In the Alpine foothills and over the Swabian Alb, it can thunderstorm in the afternoon, sometimes with heavy rain and gales.
The sun seems to shine again on Saturday, with temperatures of 28 to 34 degrees. In the afternoon, it can thunderstorm from the Fichtel Mountains over the Bavarian Forest to the Alpine foothills, again with heavy rain and gales. The risk of thunderstorms increases in the west in the evening.
Parts of strong thunderstorms are working their way forward from the west to the center of Germany on Sunday, locally there is a risk of thunderstorms. In the Eastern part, it is still longer sunny and rain-free. In the dry areas, temperatures rise to 29 to 33 degrees, otherwise the values are between 25 and 29 degrees.
Marcus Beyer, the meteorologist from the German Weather Service in Offenbach, anticipates that despite the peak value of 34 degrees on Saturday, the Eastern part of Germany will still exceed 30 degrees on Sunday. Unfortunately, the forecast for weatherman Beyer's hometown of Offenbach suggests thunderstorms with gales and heavy rain on Sunday, which could potentially reach peak values of Unweather. Despite this, families planning a weekend trip to Germany's Eastern region can still expect warm weather with temperatures reaching 29 to 33 degrees on Sunday, depending on the location.
