A Colorado man's necklace saved him from a bullet.
In Commerce City, Colorado, close to Denver, an anonymous male shot at during a heated dispute is fortunate enough to have survived after sustaining only a minor injury to his neck. This unexpected outcome is said to have been orchestrated by his silver-hued ornamental necklace.
The police haven't disclosed the victim's identity, but are quick to mention that his chain, housed within a 10mm frame, prevented the bullet from inflicting more serious damages.
The suspect of the shooting has been apprehended, charged with attempted murder, as reported by the police department.
The necklace, presumed to be silver, is now being investigated by the authorities to determine its actual composition.
"We're not sure if it's pure silver," the department stated. "We checked it out... and it's soft, like makeup. So, next time you're thinking of knocking off something cheaper, maybe think again. This is just unbelievable."
