The 38-year-old driver of the car was unharmed. The police did not disclose whether it was the mother.

The police in Thuringia requested an emergency helicopter to transport the injured child to the hospital. Despite the unfortunate incident, the 38-year-old driver emerged unscathed. The police are still investigating the cause of the accident, keeping the identity of the driver's relationship to the child confidential.
