A man, against whom investigations are being conducted in 77 cases, was arrested at Hannover airport. The officers became aware of him during border control in the night, according to the Federal Police. During this, they discovered that there was an open arrest warrant from the Public Prosecutor's Office Halle in Sachsen-Anhalt against him. The 56-year-old is accused of embezzlement of wages in 66 cases and tax evasion in 11 cases in the warrant. According to the investigators, the damage amounted to approximately 810,000 Euro. He was presented to a judge and then taken to a detention center.

The man, originally from Lower Saxony, had planned his departure from Hannover airport, unaware of the impending punishment for his criminal actions. The open arrest warrant for him was issued in Criminality-related cases by the Public Prosecutor's Office in Halle, Sachsen-Anhalt. Despite attempting to evade detection at departure control, he was eventually apprehended by the Federal Police, who had been monitoring him due to his ongoing investigations.
