Fatal accident - 66-year-old dies after collision with train
In Borken, Schwalm-Eder-Kreis, a 66-year-old woman died after colliding with a moving train. According to the police, she was participating in a garbage collection event near the tracks when she looked at the train and was hit by it. The police spokesperson stated that this occurred approximately 300 to 400 meters away from the Borken railway station.

The emergency pastoral care was also in operation. For a total of two and a half hours, the track section was completely closed, and train traffic was diverted.
