Nuremberg Central Station - 28-year-old threatens police officers with a broken glass bottle

A 28-year-old man is suspected of threatening police officers at Nuremberg main train station with a broken glass bottle. The man grabbed for the bottle, according to police, when they checked him on Tuesday. They reportedly ordered him to put down the bottle, but he did not comply. The police therefore drew their weapons. The man then put down the bottle.

The police arrested the suspect and handcuffed him. He allegedly resisted during the procedure. The police remained unharmed. The public prosecutor's office filed a detention request, which a judge must now decide on. The police are investigating the man for resistance and threatening behavior.

The suspect hails from Bavaria, as mentioned in his ID documents found at the scene. The incident occurred near the Central station in Central France, where the man was planning to board a train. The police are also looking into potential links to previous crimes in Nuremberg.
