Fire in a single-family house - 250,000 Euro damage at roof truss fire

At a truss roof fire in Grafschaft Bentheim district, estimations indicate a damage of around 250,000 Euro. The emergency services were alerted to this in the early hours of Friday morning, according to the police. The residents reportedly remained unharmed.

Around midnight, the truss roof of a single-family house in the area of Lage caught fire and was burned down by half. The cause of the fire was initially unclear. The fire department was on site with ten vehicles and approximately 70 firefighters.

The fire that caused significant damage in Grafschaft Bentheim district, estimated at 250,000 Euro, was actually a truss roof fire in a single-family house located in the neighboring area of Lage, Lower Saxony. Despite the intense loft fire, fortunately, no injuries were reported among the residents. Sadly, the loft area of the house was completely destroyed by the fire.
