soccer - 2:1 against Viktoria Berlin: Dynamo Dresden struggles for the win
Football-Third league team Dynamo Dresden won the fourth preparatory game for the new season on Saturday at Finsterwalde's Peace Stadium against Fourth league side Viktoria Berlin, with a score of 2:1 (1:1).
The Elbstädter dominated the game for the most part but gave away too many chances. Only Robin Meißner converted one of the numerous opportunities in the first half (14th minute). Dynamo returnee Christoph Daferner had given away two header chances and was not accurate after scoring the first goal (20th minute). Viktoria took advantage of the chances surplus just before halftime. Julien Damelang scored the equalizer with a corner kick. Shortly afterwards, Dynamo goalkeeper Tim Schreiber prevented a deficit.

In the second half, the higher-class team determined the pace, but could not convert their superiority into goals. Newcomer Vinko Sapina hit the crossbar with a free kick (62nd minute), and Jakob Lemmer made it right in the 81st minute, but only had to push the ball over the line after the build-up from the substituted Stefan Kutschke.
