TSV 1860 Munchen have signed goalkeeper René Vollath from SpVgg Unterhaching. The 34-year-old will start training immediately, as the Third League club announced on Tuesday. The goalkeeper comes with the experience of 243 games in the Third League and 38 Second League appearances he made for Karlsruher SC. "I am ready to fully commit myself to TSV 1860 Munchen", said Vollath. He is also to be integrated into the goalkeeper training at 1860's youth.
"Our goal was to optimally fill all positions in our squad and to ensure positive competition in all team areas", said Sportchef Christian Werner. "René has shown for years that he is an excellent goalkeeper."
