Emergency - 16-year-old in hospital after swimming accident

A 16-year-old was revived after a swimming accident in the Bergstraße district. According to the police, he was subsequently taken to the hospital. In the evening, the teenager had gone swimming with two friends near Lampertheim in a lake.

Shortly thereafter, he went underwater. A witness called for help immediately. The teenager was pulled out of the water by the response team and revived. The reason for his collapse remained unclear at first.

The incident occurred in the Bergstraße district, falling under South Hesse's jurisdiction. Due to the emergency, an ambulance was swiftly dispatched from Lampertheim County. Despite the accident being classified as a swimming incident, further investigations are required to ascertain the exact cause of the teenager's collapse.
