A 15-year-old boy caused a stir in Bremen by acting as a bus driver, even picking up passengers. On Monday evening, the teenager presented himself as a trainee from a bus company to a driver, the police reported. Impressed by his detailed knowledge, he accompanied the driver on his route, was introduced as the new helper at the driver change, and stayed in the bus.

After the tour, the driver and his young companion left the bus, but the 15-year-old returned and continued the journey. At a stop, he invited unsuspecting passengers, who believed they were dealing with a regular bus driver, as the police reported.

Some scratches on the bus

The real bus drivers noticed the theft and alerted the police. The 15-year-old was eventually stopped with the passengers after a quick location. No one was injured, but the bus suffered some scratches and "unwanted vegetation on its body."

The too young bus driver, an autistic boy, was handed over to his father. According to police, he wanted to "fulfill his passion for vehicles and technology."

The police arrived at the bus stop to address the unusual situation, involving the 15-year-old who had been driving the bus. The authorities decided to take the boy home, recognizing his actions as an expression of his interest in vehicles and technology.
