Ukraine has begun series production of combat drones with a range exceeding 1,000 kilometers. According to the head of the state arms company Ukroboronprom, Herman Smetanin, in an interview with ArmyInform, Russia's "vast resources and powerful industry" are forcing Ukraine to adopt a "more flexible and inventive" approach to weapons production. Ukraine uses long-range drones to attack military infrastructure such as airfields and logistics facilities, as well as oil refineries and storage facilities, deep in Russian territory.

Western estimates put the losses at lower figures - but these are only minimum values.
