Dangerous accident - Young motorcycle rider hit by car and fatalively injured
A 20-year-old Motorcycle rider died at a gas station in Crailsheim (District of Schwaebisch Hall) due to injuries sustained in a collision with a car. He succumbed to his life-threatening injuries later that Friday evening at the hospital, according to a police spokesperson. The 52-year-old driver from the gas station attempted to turn onto a street and apparently didn't see the motorcycle rider in time.
Investigating the Accident
The 20-year-old reportedly tried to swerve, but a collision occurred nonetheless. The motorcycle rider lost control. The spokesperson speculated that the 20-year-old might have been traveling at high speed. The police took over the investigation into the accident sequence. An accident expert was also called in by the prosecutor.
