At Salzgittersee - Woman with crossbow wounded
A woman was injured by a crossbow at a lake in Salzgitter. When the response team arrived at Salzgittersee on a Saturday evening, the crossbow bolt was still lodged in the victim's leg, according to the police. The 44-year-old woman was taken to a hospital. Three men, aged 33, 34, and 48, were taken into police custody as suspected perpetrators, and a crossbow was found with them.
Blood samples were taken from the men. The 33- and 34-year-old men were detained for aggressive behavior. The officers initiated criminal proceedings against the three suspects for aggravated bodily harm.
